How To Mark Wii Messages As Read?

After playing a game, I get the message telling me how much I have played it. I see the button for the message board with a flashing 1 on it under a mail symbol, and click it. I read the message and back out of it. But when I go back to the main menu or even just the board, it looks like it’s unread. Any way to fix this?

How To Fix Television That I Broke With Wii Controller?

My mum went out so i decided to try out her wii, but i accidentally let go of the controller whilst playing wii sports bowling. It hit the tv and make like a cracking sound and there is like some glass on the floor.
The tv is quite new, hd enabled and i think its 32″. Any ideas of how i can fix it quickly? The cables and everything are fine i think as i didn’t hit them, and i’ve tried for the past 10 minutes to fix it. Please don’t say glue or tape as i’ve already tried. Any advice would be useful, thank you :)
