How Do I Fix My Bricked Wii?

I bought my Wii in October 07, and last night I tried to install wads with the HomebrewChannel to play VC games for free.
I downgraded my wii to firmware 2.2 and I accidentally set the region to Japanese.
Now everything on my wii is in Japanese, I tried going into the settings and changing it back to English but I can’t understand any of the symbols.
Plus, I’m pretty sure it’s bricked because it won’t read any of my games at all. I’m not really an expert on any of these things though..
So, how can I reset the firmware without the Homebrew Channel?? My wii deleted all of my files also…please help :(

its not bricked, you simply changed the region. if it was bricked you wouldn’t be able to turn it on at all. get the homebrew channel back and use anyregion changer to change it back.
