I bought my Wii in October 07, and last night I tried to install wads with the HomebrewChannel to play VC games for free.
I downgraded my wii to firmware 2.2 and I accidentally set the region to Japanese.
Now everything on my wii is in Japanese, I tried going into the settings and changing it back to English but I can’t understand any of the symbols.
Plus, I’m pretty sure it’s bricked because it won’t read any of my games at all. I’m not really an expert on any of these things though..
So, how can I reset the firmware without the Homebrew Channel?? My wii deleted all of my files also…please help

So we bought some WII remotes, and when we turn them on all the bottom lights start blinking and they wont work. What do i do?

fortunately, my wii is only semi-bricked
cant enter settings, but game disk are playable and channels
i needa fix my settings so i can make a wi-fi connection for my new lan adapter.
i put in a bootleg trauma center SO and it updated, turns out it semi bricked my wii.
what game would update it to work again?
i heard big brain academy works
could someone confirm this?
btw my wiis japanese, got from tokyo airport, does that affect anything?
